Two Minute Duos is a series created for piano, harp, and/or C melodic instrument ensembles to play. Pieces are arranged so that piano/harp 1 can be played as a solo, both parts may be played as a duet, or instrument quartet/ensemble can assign one staff line per player. Fingerings have been left out since these will change whether the two grand staves are played as duets or if each staff is divided between two hands. Pieces are in the key of C for ease of reading, and to accommodate small harps without levers. This series may also be used on other instruments such as piano or string ensemble. Each book in this series focuses on music from one ethnic tradition and may be performed as a set with a reception of culturally appropriate foods to accompany. They may be used as a way to explore cultural diversity. Contents include: Went-ti, The Bamboo Flute, Moon Rising over the Castle, Rainy Day, Chinese Bellflower, Jasmine, Moonlight Lullaby, Japanese Snow Song, Slumber Song of Izumo, Old Philosopher's Sentiments.
