Product Description
One With You is an attractive, flowing melodic composition for choir that will suit community, youth and school choirs. The words are a message of companionship and comfort in times of difficulty. Though I did not have any religious meaning in mind for the lyrics I am happy for listeners and singers to make their own interpretation and derive their own meaning from them.
Ranges: Soprano B2 to F4 (one note); Alto B2 to C4; Baritones C2 to Eb3
The song was composed for the Handsworth Community Choir in Birmingham, UK, for whom I am the accompanist, and was first performed by them on 15th December 2016 in St. Marys Church, Handsworth.
There are some minor differences between the printed copy and the performance linked on youtube. I am always happy for choirs to adapt any of my compositions to suit the ability of their members. In fact this song will work perfectly well sung as a single line melody; harmonies and additional melodic lines can then be added as desired.
