Emilys Reel (1999) adapted for violin, viola and cello by Mark OConnor is a piece written for Yo-Yo Mas daughter as a gift. Later, 10-year old Emily allowed the trio (consisting of her father, Edgar Meyer and Mark OConnor) to record it on the Sony Classical album Appalachian Journey. The CD reached the number one position on Billboards Classical Crossover music chart. The music is suited for advanced and intermediate levels.
