Product Description
"25 Progressive Studies For Bass Recorder " by T. Korner (?), a 19th century bassoonist and composer (notation:bass clef).
Korner's Progressive Studies offer a combination of technical studies and very charming, likeable one page solo pieces. Our revised edition covers the full range of the bass recorder, beginning with a very simple piece in C and advancing to "more unusual" keys for the recorder.
Some of the more advanced pieces are even suitable for use in Grades/exams or as little encores.
While researching 19th century music we are surprised how often we find "forgotten" composers whose works are en par with the established repertoire.
One of our aims is to revive these compositions and bring them to the attention of players and audiences.
