Product Description
Johannes Brahms (1833-1897) was a German composer who crafted his works using the techniques of musical counterpoint within traditional forms. Within those strictures he created many beautiful and powerful works.
Capriccios in general are thought not to adhere specific compositional rules, yet here Brahms allows himself to find order within the form. Its whimsical, quirky, and completely delightful.
This is an arrangement by Richard Byrnes for E-flat Clarinet, 6 B-flat Clarinets, Bass Clarinet, Contralto Clarinet, & Contrabassoon.
