The hymn tune Leoni is based on the ancient Hebrew chant Yigdal. Among several modern hymns that are set to this tune, the best-known by far is The God of Abraham Praise.

This chorale prelude for brass quintet is a transcription of my organ composition of the same name, which is also available from Dacker Music. It is also available scored for brass sextet (standard quintet plus 2nd trombone).
