Product Description
Chopin was famous for composing piano works, and didn't write for many other ensembles during his lifetime. However, his waltzes work quite well for String Quartet and this is an arrangement of his Op.64 waltzes, including the famous Minute Waltz (Db Major). This arrangement would work particularly well if you have a very strong Violin 1 player in an ensemble that isn't as advanced, and would be perfect for weddings, schools, churches and any other performance opportunities
that arise for the professional or amateur musician.
The arrangement goes for approx. 10 min. This
purchase includes a score and parts for all performers; violin 1, violin 2,
viola, and cello. It would work best for players of an
intermediate to advanced level, with the Violin 1 player needing to be more advanced then the other parts. The three movements are in the keys of Db major, C# minor and Ab major, which are the original keys.
