Product Description
Eric Clapton has given us countless great songs for both the singer and the guitatist alike. This arrangement is a simple fingerpicking pattern repeated over the chords of the piece with a small break in the pattern in a couple of bars. It includes all the chord shapes usedso you only have know the chord shapes shown, learn the finger picking pattern knowing where the bass notes are for each chord and you are on your way.
Level
Everything in this piece is achievable for a begginner who has had lessons and has a fair grasp of chord shapes and changes with some fingerpicking practice. It is probably at the top end of the begginer range into early intermediate range.
Difficulty
The Chords are not too difficult. If you can play Wonderwall by Oasis you will know every single chord in this. There are only 5 Chord shapes in all, all of which the third and fouth finger remain in the same position.
The finger picking may take a little time to get your head around but methodical and disciplined practice will help you to nail that. Once the pattern is learned you just need to know where your thumb is changing for each bass not of the chord, which is indicated in the TAB.
The finger picking pattern is indicated in the initial bar of the piece and the fingering is indicated when it changes.
I hope you enjoy this arrangement of Wonderful Tonight, all the lyrics are included so you can sing along once you have learned it.
