Product Description
This tune is a traditional Christmas favorite, and this exciting and upbeat arrangement is the perfect setting for it. The trumpets establish the "jingle," the trombone enters with the melody, and finally the tuba joins in with a horse-hoof bass line. Then come fanfare figures, a horn obbligato, solos, even a trumpet horse laugh. All this in less than two minutes! This one is great for a Christmas concert: to open, to punch up the middle, as a leave-em-wanting-more encore.
This arrangement was completed in 2012, and performance time runs about 1 minute, 48 seconds. The arranger, Les Smith, will be happy to provide substitute parts (for example, treble clef baritone for trombone) at no charge; contact him directly at lessmith61@bellsouth.net.
