This soulful violin tune, "Hector the Hero," was composed by the iconic Scottish violinist J. Scott Skinner in honor of the Scottish war hero Major General Sir Hector A. MacDonald ("Fighting Mac") who met a tragic end. The music consists of a score, and music for the separate instruments.
