Product Description

In 1880 Johann Stauss, Jr. used themes from his operetta, Das Spitzentuch der Königin,  for this orchestra piece. Waltz II is the most famous melody. Eduard Strauss, Johanns harpist brother, conducted the premier. The music has been used in many movies and TV shows.

This reflective piece moves from the key of Bb to F and back again. The dynamics and Lever changes are clearly marked.
