Product Description

These Slavonic Dances were inspired by Brahms's Hungarian Dances. They are lively and full of national character, but more specifically by styles, spirit and forms (rhythmic patterns and structures)  of these traditional dances from Bohemia. They were composed in 1886.

Dance no. 2 is a 'dumka', which literally means a thoughtful or melancholic dance.
