Product Description

This arrangement of "The Blue Danube" by Johann Strauss II. is as played by the legendary pianist and entertainer Liberace. This famous waltz was one of Liberace's career highlights. He performed it in many famous concerts in Las Vegas along with the famous "colored water fountains" that would dance in the air; choreographed to the rhythm of the music.

Johann Strauss Jr. made his American debut in Boston on June 17, 1872, conducting The Blue Danube for the World Peace Jubilee. For the occasion, Patrick Sarsfield Gilmore, an Irish bandmaster, assembled an orchestra of 2000 and a choir of 20,000.
