Product Description

" A Toy Story " (not that Toy Story) was written by Charles Villiers Stanford. It depicts the life (and temporary death) of a childs toy. The movement titles say it all: "Alone", "The Postman", "The New Toy", "The Broken Toy", The Mended Toy" and "Not Alone".

Its a charming work that would add much to any concert or recital. It would be playable by a good high school or university quartet.

( Duration 7:37 )
