A new setting of the 23rd Psalm, popular at weddings in particular.
For SATB choir and optional organ / piano accompaniment.
The pdf file contains a version with accompaniment, then for choir only, with piano reduction for rehearsal purposes (the SATB parts are the same as in the accompanied version).
This piece was a finalist in a choral competition run by the American music publishers, Hal Leonard in 2016. The feedback from the jury included "lilting sacred choral piece with good ebbs and flows in dynamics to add expression and meaning to the always comforting and familiar words of the 23rd Psalm", "Very accessible for church choirs, yet very beautiful melody. Would be an emotional piece well suited for Lent, funerals, graduations, or normal Sunday worship. Church choral directors would love to purchase this since its melodic yet learnable...you could do a lot with dynamics as a director. Great final chord", "Very applicable piece for any church choir". Written in April 2016 for the Consort, Saalfelden. Premiered 28/08/16 in Saalfelden. Also performed in Salzburg Cathedral at a mass on 23/04/17, video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FMQchPDNz8

Mp3 recording is of the Consort in Saalfelden singing it in a mass. The version recorded is a slightly older version than the downloadable score.
