It appears towards the end of Parker's oratorio, 'Saint Christopher' Op. 43, but it is most often sung as a piece in itself. Jam Sol Recedit has been described as one of Parker's most accomplished pieces of music. Arranged for String Orchestra by cellist Tim Cais www.timcaiscello.co.uk.
