Product Description
This arrangement by composer Garrett Breeze tells the story of the shepherds who followed the Christmas star in search of the baby Jesus. It was written for the 2015 album, "More Joyful Sounds of the Season," recorded by the Counterpoints of North Central High School in Indianapolis, IN (directed by Michael Raunick). The piece covers an extremely wide dynamic range as the song evolves and the choral texture becomes increasingly complex.

Lyrics:
The first Noel the angel did say was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay, In fields where they lay keeping their sheep on a cold winters night that was so deep.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel! Born is the King of Israel!
They looked up and saw a star shining in the east beyond them far: And to the earth it gave great light an so it continued both day and night.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel! Born is the King of Israel!
This star drew nigh to the northwest; oer Bethlehem it took its rest; And there it did both stop and stay right oer the place where Jesus lay!
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel! Born is the King of Israel!
Noel.
