Product Description
"Thus Saith the Lord" (sometimes misspelled as "Thus Sayeth the Lord") is the first bass recitative of Handel's Messiah. In this arrangement, its dramatic melody works very well as an instrumental solo. The single violin accompaniment does an admirable job of covering the orchestral parts.
Solo parts are provided in two different octaves, and support most tenor and bass instruments (viola, cello, bass, alto/bass clarinet, tenor/baritone saxophone, bassoon, French horn, baritone, trombone, euphonium, bass trombone, tuba, and sousaphone). Note that this has been transposed to E minor to better fit the instruments. The instant download contains the score and all parts.
