Product Description

Here is a fun novelty piece for a 2 octave bell group. Playable by tone chimes, hand chimes and handbells, it is one and a half minutes long. It uses 16 bells from a standard two octave bell set. It is a step up from a beginner piece, and is a great vehicle for learning to play syncopation. The optional clapping part is notated in the music, and can be performed by a non-bell player, or the F# and/or G bell players (since they do not play their bells in the clapping sections.) The addition of bones or spoons is also a fun option for this crowd-pleasing folk song. This is a reproducible product. This piece may be purchased as a score for one performing group, and copies made for the members of that one performing group. Save money and space while allowing for more flexibility in annotating from year to year.
