On those who will receive
The prophets will illuminate
The way, if we believe.

The scriptures make our lives aglow
With lovely words divine.
The Spirit whispers guiding thoughts
Like sparks that brightly shine.

3. The invitation of that star,
Is ours to leave or take.
Though we must travel from afar
The choice is ours to make.

For many saw the Christmas star
But few there were who came
As shepherds and wise men knelt
We too may do the same.
