Product Description

The Shepherdess Song (Aria Pastorella) was written during the Baroque period by Valentin Rathgeber. Rathgeber was a church chorus master and organist in southern Germany. This is a setting of his Christmas organ piece for three saxophones (same key) by John Gibson. It could be played by 3 altos, 3 tenors, 3 baritones, or even....3 soprano saxes. Nice music to play for Christmas, and not difficult. The score and parts are included. 2015 Holiday Contest chamber music
