Product Description

Arrangement of the traditional German carol about sweet bells at Christmas (The bells never sound sweeter than when they ring at Christmas), for a cappella choir (men's voices ATTB), with the various voices representing bells at various points and a cheeky English cadence at the end. The words are by Friedrich Wilhelm Kritzinger (1816-1890) and the melody is from a Thuringian folk song (Seht, wie die Sonne dort sinket) Versions for SATB choir in E-flat and F are also available here. The sound sample is performed by the arranger multitracking. A video of this performance can also be see on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivNe0nxlDtU
