Product Description

This energetic Christmas song has been arranged for a string quartet. The Violin 3 part is the same as the Viola part in case a Viola player is not available. Violin 1 carries the melody for the chorus then Violin 2 and Violin 3 (Viola) alternate the melody for the verse.

This is an excellent arrangement for a late beginner to intermediate string group since all notes on the violin and viola can be played in the first position and up to the second position for the cello. Plenty of movement for all parts makes this a fun piece for everyone and the familiar melody intertwined with intricate harmonies will keep the listeners engaged.

Ranges are as follows: Violin 1--B4 to B5; Violin 2--D4 to G5; Violin 3 (Viola)--G3 to G4; Cello--E2 to A3. The purchase price includes the full 5 staff, 3 page score plus a 1 page score for each part. Though this is a short piece at just over 1 minute, it is easy to repeat through more verses if a longer play time is desired.
