This dual keyboard arrangement, though based on the familiar hymn tune COMING HOME by William Kirkpatrick (commonly used during the season of Lent), is written in 3/4 time as opposed to the standard 4/4 time. While one keyboard carries the melody, the second keyboard echoes with a tranquil harmony creating an atmosphere fitting for a time of personal reflection. The melody alternates between the two keyboards and is especially effective when played by two keyboards with unique sounds such as an acoustic piano and a digital keyboard set to the electric piano with strings setting.
 
The piece begins in the key of D major then transitions to and concludes in the key of G major. When played at a meditative tempo the piece will take just under 3 minutes to perform. The purchase price includes the 8-page full score as well as the individual parts (4 pages each) thus allowing for fewer page turns.
