The piano shares some of the melodic material with the saxophone and the music evokes peace and tranquility; theres a brief yet passionate passage near the middle of the piece before the music returns to the quite place where it began. The range generally stays below top D though top E appears once. Piano cues appear in the sax part where appropriate. This work would make an excellent addition to a saxophone recital.
