"Gone Under" by Shayna Steele is a modern gospel that features a powerful voice. It can be found on her album "Rise" and on Snarky Puppy's "Family Dinner Vol. 1", on which she also sang it.
Much of this song explains itself after listening to these two versions.
The notation of the vocal part is closely following the first verse of these recordings. From the second verse on and in the other parts of the song it should be sung more freely. Don't hesitate to experiment in the " freak out " part at the end in the Bb minor scale! Otherwise I can only refer to the original recordings again, from which you can learn a lot.
Unfortunately I can only provide a MIDI export as an audio example (voice is an electric piano...). As soon as there is a real recording, I will replace it!
