Product Description

"Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars" (originally called "Corcovado") is a Bossa Nova song written by AntƓnio Carlos Jobim in 1960. An English lyric was later written by Gene Lees. The title in Portuguese refers to the Corcovado hill, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Andy Williams recorded the song with English lyrics, reaching 92nd place on the Billboard Hot 100 and 18th place on Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks in 1965.
