Product Description

This tack originally appears in a violent rock band trio format on "Alien Love Secrets". I thought it would make a powerful orchestra piece and started to prepare it around 1998 for the "Sound Theories" project with the Metropole Orkest. - The real challenge was to bring it down from 7 minutes to 4 or so minutes. I have a tendency to be overindulgent. - I had given instructions to my buddy Tom Trapp in the orchestration process of this one and that became the score for the Metropole project. Then through the years I tweaked it a bit. - I love the energy of this track. When playing high intensity guitar with a raging orchestra following your every move and supporting you, the feeling is just magnificent. It's sort of like feeling an inner joyous explosion and expressing it with 75 musicians raging along with you. - "Compogistion" - When I was a kid (perhaps 9-13yo on Long Island) we used to play this game on our block called "Kill the Guy with Ball". Someone would throw a ball in the air and everyone would run to catch it. Whoever got it had to run like hell because everyone else had to chase them, and if the guy with the ball got caught well, you didn't want to be that guy! Silly but eh, fun in a non-computer age kind of way.
