Derek Hasted writes "Theres something instantly captivating about this uplifting melody, and if played near the end of a concert, this will be the ear-worm piece that annoys the audience all the way home!

My arrangement for 4 guitars is in the same key as the original and it fits nicely onto the fingerboard. The majority of the subtle embellishments in the melody and rhythm in successive verses is captured in Guitar 1, and many of the instrumental motifs are here in the arrangement too.

It makes for a very pleasing and very accessible piece for 4 guitars (or large ensemble), and at the marked metronome speed it runs for a little over 4½ minutes.

Some of the part scores are three pages, but a few pieces of sticky tape will mean that the part will fit on a normal music stand quite safely.

You may want to slur some of the semiquavers (1/16th notes) for a more legato sound, and some of the inner parts will sound more mellow taken up the neck.
