Product Description

Scored for two Altos, Tenor and Baritone Saxophone.
Narcissus was composed in1891 by Ethelbert Nevin. Written for Piano and part of the Water Scenes Suite, it was inspired by the Greek Myth of the same name. It was immediately successful and received a further boost in 1952 when it was recorded as The laughing Song by Sir Norman Wisdom and Joyce Grenfell. The Quartets and Brass Quintet attempt to capture the free flowing light style of the original.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
