Product Description

Those Were the Days is a version of a traditional Russian song, Dorogoi Dlinnoyu (The Long Road). This version is gentler than the Russian one, but still has elements of the Russian tradition - slow soulful verses, and choruses which start slowly and increase in tempo. The speed of the music at the end of the choruses is really up to the conductor and how fast it can be sung.
This version is simple, choruses are the same and verses follow the same structure. I have other versions available - a more complex SSA version and a fairly simple version in Russian which is more authentic.
