Product Description

This arrangement of six pieces for oboe, bassoon and piano is taken from Bizet's Jeux d'Enfants, Op. 22, which was originally composed for piano four-hands. Francis Poulenc proved, in his iconic trio for oboe, bassoon and piano from 1926, that this is a brilliant and versatile combination of instruments. These Bizet pieces were arranged with the spirit of Poulenc in mind. The duration of the six selected movements is ca. 12 minutes. The audio sample of movements 1, 5 and 6 was that of a live performance. This arrangement is conceived for advanced students and professionals.
