Product Description

Key: C Major (F Lydian)
Pages: 5+3 (Two versions with and without tab!)

I took some liberties with the voicings of chords though the melody is intact.

As with most of my arrangements, they are ideal for a solo singer-songwriter or a solo instrumentalist that wants a practical version to easily take to a performance. They are ideal for someone who wants to improve their singing, or wants to try to compose/improvise a more complex instrumental version.

This is also great for someone who wants to train on a complex version, then memorize it, then take a simplier and shorter lead sheet with them to performances. My arrangements tend to be both complex and simple, and both educational and to the point, depending on how you use them. This is one of the more "fleshed out arrangements" I've ever done. My publishing style values practicality and originality over tradition and etiquette.

Features:
1. Beginner friendly easy guitar
2. Guitar TAB
3. Large appealing fonts in jazz lead sheet style
4. Guitar fingerings
5. Beautifully engraved sections
6. Chord names that actually incorporate the melody note for easier solo performances.
7. Two versions: detailed and vague

I recommend a G6 chord rather than a G sometimes (Just play the thinnest string open on a G chord). It helps make the chords on high pitched guitar strings sound too important. It also creates this windy sound which makes for good word painting.

This song is an excellent example of an F lydian mode. F lydian is a great mode for a floaty vibe! Another way to word it: It's in the key of C Major but starts on the "wrong" chord of F Major.
