Composed in 1907 by female French composer Mel Bonis (Mélanie-Hélène Bonis), is a diptych written for trio piano, violin and cello. The work is divided into two movements, Soir (night) dedicated to Miss Foltzer, and Matin (Day) to the Chaigneau Trio.
