I have quite a few weaker groups amongst my schools this semester, and they absolutely love that they sound awesome as a group with minimal pitch-reading ability. It's been so popular with my Y6s that I've started giving the sustained bass line to even weak Y5s & they consider themselves the bees knees! If I could only show you all the faces that have lit up, the confidence gained, and the distractible (as in wander constantly around the classroom) students who have suddenly become engaged.
