This original song is for solo voice & piano. Ive kept the accompaniment to the bare minimum so that the words can have greater impact on the listener. I wrote this song quite a long time ago. I was in the process of finding my way as a Christian. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in my teens, but had always had Him in my heart as a child. My relationship didnt grow for years because I dont think I was being fed spiritually. It took a long time to begin that growth toward a personal relationship with Christ. I had lots of people help me along the way. A major influence on me was a student who was more spiritually mature in her teens than I have been all of my adult life. Allie, this song is for you.
