Jazz guitar has a long and rich history in worship settings, but there are few transcriptions of of sacred pieces available for intermediate guitarists. Too often the guitarist is presented with the choice of playing from a fake book, or taking the time to arrange the pieces to suit. With this in mind, here are seven sacred songs arranged for the intermediate guitarist. The arrangements are unique - for example, Silent Night is arranged in 5/8 in the style of Dave Brubeck. Arrangements include:
