This famous waltz has been arranged for 6 string guitar, but not as far as I know for the 8 string. The lower two strings need to be tuned to G and B to acheive the correct pitch intended by the compser. I hope threre will be some 8 string players out there who will be able to enjoy this arrangement. I intend to make a recording and a YouTube video in due course.
