A solo Harpsichord arrangement of the madrigal by Thomas Morley. The upper registers are generally true to the original, however the left hand arrangement has been modified to more effectively support the lead lines in the right hand. Although (being arranged on a Harpsichord) the dynamic requirements are little to none, the technical requirements to play it accurately are intermediate to advanced. This would therefore be appropriate only for advanced grading. Arranging it for solo Harpsichord is relatively unique for this piece, yet it remains true to the era in which it was written for this same reason. This not only makes it an ideal classical concert performance piece, but it is also appropriate as an authentic soundtrack to historical settings including: History tours & historic sites, documentaries, theatrical productions and even as a videogame soundtrack.
