Work Song is the title track of what is often regarded as Nat Adderleys finest album, released in 1960.

It is now a standard as an instrumental, but also as a vocal song after Oscar Brown Jnr wrote lyrics in 1961.

The trombone quartet arrangement shares the melody and has a couple of notated solo type sections for trombones 1 and 2.
