Musical Description :
Kinky Boots is a Broadway musical with lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award winner Cyndi Lauper and a screenplay by Tony Award winner Harvey Firestein. It is based on the 2005 film Kinky Boots, written by Jeff Dean and Tim Faith, based on a true story. It features Charlie, the uptight owner of a shoe factory on the verge of bankruptcy in England, and Laura, a drag queen who has a bad relationship with him but later becomes the savior of his business. Charlie plans to move from making formal shoes for gentlemen to making shoes for drag queens, and in the process, the two realize that they are not so different from each other. (From Wikipedea)
