Product Description

Peter Philips, the composer, was born in 1560 or 1561 and died in 1628. He was an English composer, organist, and Catholic priest exiled to Flanders. Philips was known for his keyboard virtuosity and for transcribing or arranging Italian motets and madrigals for his instruments. He composed a large number of sacred choral works, with his surviving motets numbering in the hundreds.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
