I have chosen these three songs because they work well with guitar accompaniment. The first two O Thou Joyful (O Sanctissima) and In The Bleak Midwinter are for solo voice. The third song, Sing We The Virgin Mary, is arranged for two voices but works just as well with one. Two of them were not originally carols, only In The Bleak Midwinter was written specifically as a carol, for this reason I have used the term Christmas Song. This publication has both notes on the origins of the songs and some technical advice on how to play them on the guitar. There are separate parts for voice and guitar together with a full score for those who prefer this, especially for reference purposes or expanded arrangement.
