Product Description

Saxophone Ensemble 5-parts (+opt. Piano, String Bass & Percussion).
(additional parts: Bb Soprano sax. & Bb Bass sax.)

The Vltava is a river crossing Prague and a large part of Bohemia, and joining the Elbe. This one inspired Bedřich Smetana (1824 1884) to compose this symphonic poem in 1874 known under the name: The Moldau. Here you will find themes evoking the two sources of the Vltava, the woods, the peasant dances and the magic nights of Bohemia, arranged for saxophone ensemble.
