These are the scales for the new 2023 and onwards brass syllabus. 

These scales can also be used for: Trombone in C Bass Clef

Please note that you can't use the old scales with the new syllabus or vice versa.

The examiner will request the scales to be performed tongued only. 

The candidate will only need to learn one type of minor scale; either natural, harmonic or melodic.

Ab Major Scale: 1 Octave
Ab Major Arpeggio: 1 Octave
C Major Scale: 1 Octave
C Major Arpeggio: 1 Octave
G Natural Minor Scale: 1 Octave
G Harmonic Minor Scale: 1 Octave
G Melodic Minor Scale: 1 Octave
G Minor Arpeggio: 1 Octave
C Natural Minor Scale: 1 Octave
C Harmonic Minor Scale: 1 Octave
C Melodic Minor Scale: 1 Octave
