Let's be real: I taught in a small school with a small band. If school isn't out yet, as it frequently was for us, there are precious few days left and the students are not highly focused. You're missing the seniors since they're graduating. You're short on time [for us gradation was on Saturday with Memorial Day parade and ceremonies 45 hours later]. You need the world's most playable version of Pomp and Circumstance to sound good while nobody is listening because they're too busy looking at the seniors. You also need to have other music for that day and Memorial Day, and to make it sound the best it can under your time constraints.

I looked for arrangements, and couldn't find what would fit my needs, so I wrote this. We would repeat as needed and fade/cut off when seniors were in place. Save yourself part of an ulcer.
