Product Description
An epic, sacred choral composition with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann W. Snowball. Depicting the miracle of Jesus in raising Lazarus from the dead.
Text:
Lord, if thou hadst been here, our brother had not died.
Lord, if thou hadst been here, our brother had not died.
Word was sent to Jesus . . . Lazarus lay sick.
He to whom thou lovest, he is very sick.
Martha and her sister loved this brother dear.
Though their Lord was absent, He would soon be near.
Consciously He waited in Jerusalem,
Til four days had ended; death was sure by then.
Jesus told the sisters: Lazarus shall rise.
He is only sleeping. Still, with them He cried.
Coming to the gravesite where the dead was laid,
One large stone was taken; Jesus knelt and prayed.
When He thus had spoken, causing to restore,
He affirmed with loudness: Lazarus, come forth.
Now he had arisen, Gods most holy will.
Jesus is Messiah! Miracles are real!
Whosoever liveth, they shall never die.
To all men He beckons: Come forth, it is I.
