American composer Amy Beach (1867-1944) published her epic work Symphony in E minor Gaelic in 1896, receiving immediate praise from audiences and musicians in both America and Europe. Consisting of four movements and with a performance time in excess of 40 minutes, it is considered by many to be the first significant symphonic work by an American composer. This edition is updated to meet 21st Century publication standards. As with all Zephyrwindmusic publications, parts come with an Unlimited Copy License, thus removing any copyright issues in the way parts are used.
