Product Description

"May the Road Rise to Meet You" is the well known traditional Irish Blessing, and this easy to learn Vocal Duet for 2 voices sung unaccompanied is a charming setting not only for St. Patrick's Day and other Irish gatherings, but also for weddings, funerals, farewells, graduations, and any time to wish others a fond journey on their road of life. Learn it easily with the rehearsal mp3 track #798519 which may be purchased separately to aid in learning the music or to hear "how it goes" on the piano.  There is a free 30 second recorded sample on this page.  In the key of Bflat with a medium range from Bb to D, this arrangement encompasses only ten notes in range.
This duet may be sung by two treble voice parts, two male voice parts, or as a mixed voice duet of female and male voices. There is no piano accompaniment.  It is meant to be sung a cappella, so once it is learned, it may be sung starting on the most comfortable pitch. Of course, it's also possible to have a solo instrument like a violin or synthesizer double the melody if needed.
On ArrangeMe.com, two arrangements by Sylvia Chapa are available for solo voice with piano accompaniment and much richer harmonizations in the keys of Bb #434598 or C major #434601.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
