Product Description

Two original songs in 1920s style arranged for string quartet (There's Nothing New) Under the Sun (McNutty) Oh Joe (McNutty) Charleston Times was first punished by Chugnut Press in 2000 and distributed by SJ Music, following the long-winded and arduous challenges of obtaining licences from various copyright-owners by snail-post. Arrangeme has simplified this process considerably! Thanks! The notes are unchanged; only the layout has been revised. (TNN) Under the Sun and Oh Joe are original songs by Des McNutty, steeped in the styles of the Jazz Age. Oh Joe was first recorded in 1996 by the Sloane Square Syncopators on the album Too Good to Miss. The level is on the easier side of advanced; quickly rehearsed by professional quartets and an accessible challenge for experienced students.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
